The patrimony of the Manilla industrial complex
Manilla industrial quarter has maintained its historical image in the course of urban development. Original industrial activities were related to shipbuilding industries (small dockyards and engineering shop, afterwards a distillery and finally a rope factory). The rope factory Manilla began its operations in the complex in 1929. Nowadays Manilla quarter is under reconstruction for cultural activities.
