Perhaps the most impressive projects concerning the reuse of individual industrial buildings are on the western river bank of the River Aura. The old shipyard and factory premises were in 1994 rebuilt to provide modern and functional facilities for cultural activities. These buildings consist of the rope factory, two workshop halls of traditional shipbuilding industry in the area, and the Crown Granary.
